We see the Incarnation reflected in so many things in our world. We need the Word to become Flesh, the Eternal Word who is Jesus Christ, because that’s how we apprehend words and ideas. We need the same from lesser words as well. That’s how God created us.  It should come as no surprise that our Creator knows exactly the best way to approach us.  That’s the theme of the post attached below.  In this case, the author discusses how our Lord touches us through the medium of liturgical Latin. This is not specifically about the Traditional Latin Mass. Latin remains the definitive liturgical language for every Mass.

I have not been able to contribute to this blog for quite a while, by the way.  Other things in my life have, unfortunately, taken priority. I think about it often, however. In that spirit, I’d like to (at least) share something from another blog that will be of interest to Catholic readers. It’s called “The Human Touch: Latin in the Liturgy” and was recently published at Aeterna Latina. I will hope to do more here at Spes in Domino in the near future (at the very least, I’ll  celebrate the Advent and Christmas seasons in my usual fashion).  In the meanwhile please take a few moments to read about how the Latin language brings the human touch to the liturgy of the Mass:
